Warranty Policy
LAST UPDATED : JULY 2026
Applies to: ELMIUR CRYO NOVA DH10 IPL Hair Removal Device and included accessories
1. Our promise
ELMIUR ("ELMIUR," "we," "us") warrants that your device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship when used normally at home, in line with the instructions in the product manual and the safety guidance printed on and packaged with the device.
This is a limited warranty. It covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage, wear, or performance issues caused by how the device is used, stored, or maintained. Sections 4 and 5 explain the difference in detail.
Nothing here replaces your rights under consumer protection law. See Section 10.
2. Who is covered
This warranty covers the original purchaser who bought the device:
- For personal, household use — not for resale, rental, salon, spa, clinic, or any other commercial setting
- Directly from elmiur.com, or from a retailer or marketplace storefront ELMIUR has authorized in writing
It does not transfer to anyone you sell, gift, or pass the device on to.
Devices bought from unauthorized sellers, third-party resale listings, or private sellers are not covered, even if the device is genuine. If you're unsure whether your seller is authorized, contact us before purchasing.
3. Warranty periods
All periods start on the delivery date shown on your order.
| What | Coverage period |
|---|---|
| Device (main unit, including the IPL light module, cooling system, and internal electronics) | 12 months |
| Included accessories (power adapter, cable, storage pouch, protective cap, printed materials) | 12 Months |
| Promotional gifts, giveaway prizes, and free add-on items | Not covered |
If we repair or replace your device: the original 12-month period continues to run. It does not restart.
After the accessory period ends, we can often still supply paid replacement parts. Contact support for pricing and availability.
4. Flash lamp life
Your CRYO NOVA DH10 is rated for 300,000 flashes. This is the expected service life of the lamp, not a defect threshold.
A lamp that dims or stops working after reaching or approaching its rated flash count has reached the end of its normal service life and is not covered by this warranty. For typical full-body use, this rating is designed to last well beyond the warranty period.
A lamp that fails significantly early — with no evidence of misuse, impact, moisture exposure, or blocked ventilation — is covered as a manufacturing defect. Contact us and we'll assess it.
5. What this warranty does not cover
We can't cover the following:
Normal wear and cosmetic changes Surface scratches, scuffs, discoloration, faded printing, worn cables, or general cosmetic aging that doesn't affect how the device functions.
Accidental and physical damage Drops, impacts, crushing, cracked housing or lens, or damage during transport after delivery.
Liquid and environmental damage Water, steam, humidity, submersion, spills, condensation, dust or lint ingress, or exposure to extreme heat or cold.
Improper use or care Using the device on skin tones, hair colors, or body areas the manual advises against; operating it outside the stated voltage range; blocking the ventilation or cooling surfaces; or failing to clean the flash window and cooling plate as the manual instructs.
Unauthorized service or modification Any repair, disassembly, or modification attempted by anyone other than ELMIUR or a service partner we've authorized. This includes opening the housing.
Third-party parts Damage caused by chargers, cables, adapters, or attachments not supplied or approved by ELMIUR.
Commercial use Any use in a salon, spa, clinic, rental arrangement, or other business setting.
Force majeure Fire, flood, earthquake, storm, power surges, lightning, or similar events outside anyone's control.
Administrative issues Missing or invalid proof of purchase; a serial number that has been removed, altered, or made unreadable; a serial number that doesn't match your order record; or a device that has already been fully refunded.
Skin results This warranty covers the device's mechanical and electrical function. It is not a guarantee of hair removal results, which vary by individual. Hair color, skin tone, hormones, treatment consistency, and body area all affect outcomes.
6. How to make a claim
Step 1 — Contact us. Email [support@elmiur.com] with the subject line "Warranty Claim." Include:
- Your order number and the delivery date
- The device serial number (found on [INSERT LOCATION])
- A clear description of the problem: what happens, when it started, and what you were doing when it began
- Photos or a short video showing the issue, if it can be seen or heard
Please send this from the email address on your original order where possible — it speeds up verification.
Step 2 — We review. We'll respond within [2] business days with either an approval and return instructions, or a request for more information. Some issues can be resolved remotely without you sending anything back.
Step 3 — Return the device. If a return is needed, we'll email you a prepaid shipping label. Pack the device securely — ideally in its original box — and include everything we ask for. Damage that happens in transit because of inadequate packaging isn't covered.
Step 4 — We resolve it. Once your device reaches us, we'll inspect it and complete a repair or replacement within [7–10] business days, then ship it back to you at no cost. We'll send you tracking as soon as it's on the way.
If our inspection shows the issue falls outside this warranty, we'll contact you before doing anything, explain what we found, and offer a paid repair or return-as-is. You won't be charged for anything you haven't agreed to.
7. What we'll do about a valid claim
At our discretion, we will:
- Repair the device using new or equivalent parts, or
- Replace it with the same model, or a comparable current model if yours has been discontinued, or
- Refund the original purchase price if repair and replacement aren't practical
Replaced devices and parts we take back become our property.
8. Warranty vs. our 60-day money-back guarantee
These are two separate things, and they don't overlap:
- The 60-day money-back guarantee is a satisfaction policy. If the device works fine but isn't right for you, that's the route to take. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for terms and timing.
- This warranty is a defect policy. It applies when something is wrong with the product itself, and it runs for 12 months.
If a device is fully refunded under the guarantee, warranty coverage ends with it.
9. When coverage ends early
We may decline or withdraw warranty service if:
- The device was bought outside our authorized channels
- A refund was issued but the device was never returned
- We identify fraud, a counterfeit unit, or a claim made in bad faith
- The device is being used commercially or outside the country where it was sold
- A prior claim on the same device was resolved and the same damage has recurred through misuse
10. Your legal rights
This warranty gives you specific rights in addition to the rights consumer law already gives you. Depending on where you live, you may have statutory protections regarding product quality, fitness for purpose, and remedies for defective goods. Nothing in this document limits, waives, or replaces those rights, and where local law conflicts with anything written here, local law applies.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of Sections 5 and 11 may not apply to you.
11. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
Our total liability for any claim relating to the device will not exceed the amount you actually paid for it.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses — including lost income, lost time, travel costs, or the cost of alternative treatments — arising from a device defect or from any delay in repairing or replacing it.
Beyond what's written in this document, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except where such warranties cannot legally be excluded.
These limits do not apply in cases of fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
12. Your information
To process a warranty claim we need your name, contact details, order information, and a description of the issue. We use this only to handle your claim, verify eligibility, and provide service and support, and we handle it in line with our Privacy Policy. We don't sell this information or share it beyond the partners needed to fulfill your claim, such as our logistics and repair providers.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this warranty for future purchases. The version in effect on your purchase date is the one that applies to your device, so it's worth saving a copy with your order confirmation.
